She could picture the world and fill it with music, Linda Mc Cartney, a name dedicated to photography, music and welfare of animals. Linda was born on September 24, 1941 in the beautiful New York City of United States.

Linda’s parents were educated and wealthy. Her father, Lee Eastman was the attorney of songwriter Jack Lawrence and her mother Louise Linder was the heiress to the Linder Department Store fortune. Linda had a predilection for photography and she worked as a photographer for the Filmore East in New York City.

Soon she gained popularity and took professional portraits of famous artists such as Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan etc. On June 18, 1962 Linda tied knots with John Melvin See Jr. and gave birth to a daughter. But she got divorced within three years of her marriage (in 1965). In 1967 Linda came across Paul Mc Cartney at a Georgia Fame concert at a club in London. Cupid struck the two animal rights activists and they got married on 12 March 1969. The couple raised four children including Linda’s daughter from her ex-hubby John. Linda has three grandsons and a granddaughter, all born after her death.
